Snoop Dogg is expanding his entrepreneur ventures with his very own wine.
Earlier this week, it was announced that the California native rapper, 48, has teamed up with Australian wine brand 19 Crimes for a vino titled Snoop Cali Red. It kicks off a multi-year partnership between the rap veteran and the wine company, with a scheduled release date of summer 2020. The Doggfather's venture into wine isn’t too much of a stretch as he released is own cookbook titled From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen in 2018.
"I've been a fan of this wine and I’m excited to unveil my 'Snoop Cali Red' this summer and share the experience with all my fans," Snoop said in a press release. "It's one of the most successful brands in the market, so I’m more than eager to bring this collaboration to the world!"
Meanwhile, 19 Crimes' Marketing Vice President John Wardley likened the spirit of the company to the rapper's essence. "Snoop Dogg, an entertainment and California icon, is the perfect partner for 19 Crimes Snoop Cali Red. Snoop embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes—rule breaking, culture creating and overcoming adversity. We are truly excited to partner with Snoop and welcome him to the 19 Crimes family," he said.
Additionally, Snoop will be featured in 19 Crimes' Living Wine Labels app, which will allow users to get to know a little more about the rapper via a virtual experience. Click here to download the app!
