It look's like rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has one less thing to worry about while he awaits the news on his impending case.
The rainbow haired rapper lucked up this time and reportedly got one of his most recent charges tossed out. According to sources, the dismissed case was an assault charge the Brooklyn rapper caught after an altercation with a fan in Houston, TX.
Sources state the judge dismissed the case this past Monday after the alleged victim, Santiago Albarran, requested to do so.
Tekashi's attorney seemed hopeful in the matter as he opened up to a TMZ reporter. “Mr. Hernandez has not been notified yet of the dismissal. We plan to notify him today. I am happy the prosecutors handling this case did what was fair and just today in Dismissing the charge against Mr. Hernandez. We hope that getting this case behind him will assist in him moving forward with his career.”
Another reason the case was dismissed was because, "prosecutors say moving Tekashi to Texas is a "security risk" now that he's cooperated with the feds in NYC."
Tekashi has yet to be charged in his ongoing racketeering case and with one charge dropped, maybe others will follow.
