Kevin Gates is out promoting his new record "Adding Up", which is off his upcoming project "Luca Brasi 3". Gate's has been relatively quiet lately since his release from prison but is finally jumping back into the spotlight with his new project.
Promoting his new single in a recent interview he spoke about how his fans listen to his music to help themselves get through the personal battles that they are going through, "I know I’m supposed to be talking about Luca Brasi 3, but this has everything to do with Luca Brasi 3, what I'm about to say, It’s so many people that come to me and tell me hey, your music has helped me, I'm not trying to be an advocate for people that battle with depression, but I know that I am."
But the most controversial part of his Interview dealt with his comments on rehabilitation which has become a huge topic lately following the drug abuse issues which lead to the hospitalization of Demi Lovato and the death of Mac Miller.
In the interview Gate's said:
"Rehab is for quitters. You have to replace negative habits with positive habits because everything for me is a trigger."
Gate's definitely may catch some heat online for these comments.
