Charm City Kings premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last month and critics are in awe about the drama film, executive produced by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. The movie is it’s own rendition of the documentary 12 O’Clock Boys, which takes us on a young boys journey to manhood.
14- year old Mouse, played by Jahi Di’Allo Winston, passion for riding dirt-bikes consumes him daily. Mouse’s mother and mentors work around the clock to keep him on the right track after the tragic passing of his older brother. Blax, played by rapper Meek Mill, is the leader of the Midnight Clique; a notorious group of Baltimore bike riders. He takes a liking to the determined boy; and puts him under the wing. Mouse’s eagerness to revive his own dirt bike may ultimately lead him down the wrong road.
Charm City Kings is scheduled to be in theaters April 17, 2020.
