Nike's new collection will be making a debut during the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 matchups this week, which features 10 Nike-sponsored schools, all of which will be laced with the newly unveiled "Time To Shine" Collection.
According to HotNewHipHop.com, The Time to Shine Collection is led by the brand new KD9 Elite, which advances the knitting capabilities of Flyknit to improve fit and containment for the basketball player.
Nike Designer, Leo Chang had this to say:
"Containment for lateral movement is achieved through knitting tunnels into the Flyknit upper that allows us to channel a single cable around the entire foot, this cabling setup can micro-adjust and conform around the foot for an adaptive fit."
Additionally, Nike's "Time To Shine" Collection includes four other signature basketball shoes: the Kyrie 3, LeBron 14, PG 1 and Kobe A.D, all highlighted by unique iridescent swooshes.
All footwear, with the exception of the Kobe A.D., will be available at Nike.com and select retailers on Friday, March 24th.
