Facebook wants to be the all-in-one app.
According to Daily Mail, the social media giant is expanding its peer-to-peer payments on Messenger, letting its US users send or receive money between groups of people.
Starting with Android and desktop, the new feature will be free to use, but it will only support Visa or Mastercard debit cards for now.
The payment icon is positioned among other features that assist users with tasks such as making decision in a group, requesting rides and location sharing.
All of the features are part of Facebook’s addition of a digital assistant that has been added for US users of Messenger.
