Future sat down with Billboard Magazine for this months issue, addressing his rise to fame and his ability to adapt himself to raps constantly changing sound. During the interview, he sounded off about his past relationship with singer Ciara. "I feel like everything happened for a reason," he said. "I'm just not going to settle for anything, you know? Even in my life now, I know I can be a better person. I ain't giving up on myself, so if you give up on me, I ain't got nothing else to say for you. Because if you give up on something that's real, it wasn't real to you."
He then went on to speak about attempting to change his fast pace drug lifestyle for Ciara, which apparently didn't go so well. "They had me going the cornball route!"
