GloRilla is opening up about some of the changes she made before she dropped her new mixtape.

On Friday, April 5, the Memphis native delivered her brand new project Ehhthang Ehhthang via CMG/Interscope Records. The 12-track mixtape comes with her latest collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion "Wanna Be." The duo, who are set to go on tour next month, teased their new song in a steamy Instagram video. Big Glo's new project also has other songs featuring Moneybagg Yo, Boston Richey, Finesse2tymes and Kevo Muney. During her new interview with Angie Martinez, Glo shared what she did to rebrand herself ahead of the project's release.

“The songs are just so raw," Glo explained. "I was going back to my roots. I rebranded on it because last year I was just trying to go so big when I was in album mode. So I went back to the roots with my mixtape instead of putting out an album so I'm like I'mma give em some raw gangsta music before I put my album out because I feel like I waited too long to drop last year so I went a whole year without a project."

Angie and the "Tomorrow" rapper talk about an array of topics including why she doesn't make music for the club scene. Although some of her greatest hits like "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" are played in nightclubs and parties across the nation, Glo says that's not her intention every time she hits the booth. "That’s not my agenda," she said. "People make it twerk music.”

Angie also dives deep into her personal life, which has been a hot topic among fans recently. There's a reason why GloRilla hasn't been spotted out with a special someone recently. The Grammy-nominated rapper confirmed she's been celibate since the top of the year. Not only is she trying to refrain from getting distracted by men, but she believes the single life is a lot less stressful. However, Glo does admit that she does get lonely sometimes.

"I'm the most single I've ever been in my life right now," Glo said. "But you do get lonely. That's the bad part about it. You be wanting to have somebody to talk to, but I think single people should appreciate being single because it's less heartache."
