The NFL put the hammer down on Myles Garrett after last night's altercation with Steeler's quarterback Mason Rudolph.
Myles Garrett has been suspended for the remainder of the 2019-2020 NFL season after hitting Mason Rudolph with his own helmet last night in Thursday night's showdown between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. Along with Garrett, Maurkice Pouncey was also suspended for 3 games for jumping into Garrett, kicking and punching him after his quarterback was struck. Myles Garrett will try to appeal his suspension, and Pouncey has three business days to appeal his. Along with the suspensions, the NFL fined both teams $250,000 for the fight.
"What I did was foolish, and I shouldn't allow myself to slip like that. That's out of character, but a situation like that where it's an emotional game, and I allowed myself to fall into those emotions with what happened." explaining Garrett in a recent interview.
