Companies like Fashion Nova may be the wave for virtually everyone these days, but not for Kim Kardashian. The 38-year-old social media personality went off on the clothing brand for stealing other designs and selling them as if they were their idea, from the jump.
On Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 19), Kim wrote a series of tweets claiming the vintage Mugler dress she wore at the Hollywood Beauty Awards this past Sunday was ripped off by Fashion Nova during their pre-sale launch.
Kim first tweeted and added to her IG story, "I can no longer sit silent. I don't have any relationships with these sites. I'm not leaking my looks to anyone, and I don't support what these companies are doing."
Since her pop-off, Fashion Nova released a statement exclusively saying:
"Fashion Nova is an ultra-fast fashion brand that is capable of executing design within hours and believes in fairness in pricing. We strive to offer our customers affordable leading trends. We respect the fashion community and work with a variety of vendors, designers, influencers, and celebrities to keep our style offering fresh and relevant.
Kim Kardashian-West is one of the top fashion icons in the world that our customers draw inspiration from. However, we have not worked with Kim Kardashian-West directly on any of her projects but have been driven by her influential style."

Earlier in the day, Kardashian sent out a tribute tweet to fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away earlier today at the age of 85. The E! star paid tribute to him on her Twitter saying that Chanel creative director worked with her on her first fashion shoot.
"We lost a true legend! You were such an inspiration to the world!" Kim tweeted to her 56 million followers.
"I’m beyond honored to have had the opportunity to work w u. U are so loved & will be missed," she continued.
