Quavo caught some heat this past weekend from fans of the late Lil Peep as lyrics on his new song were seemingly taken the wrong way as a diss to the rapper.
The lyrics that were taken out of context were: "Think you poppin' Xanax bars, but it's fentanyl, Think you're living life like rockstars but you're dead now."
While Quavo has been busy promoting his album and touring with Drake he finally responded to the claims on Twitter yesterday saying:
"Lil Peep Is A Legend A Real Rockstar N E V E R will speak on the deceased," he tweeted. "I believe in god I pray to GOD every day. I Dnt question GOD plans I lost my barber For 10 yrs to FENTANYL R.I.P. Show R.I.P XXX RIP TO ANYBODY WHO LOST THERE LIFE TO DRUG ABUSE!"
