The Wait for "Tha Carter V" could almost finally be over. After it was set to be released all the way back in 2014, it was postponed due to issues between Lil Wayne and his label CashMoney. Eventually, these issues lead to Lil Wayne suing Birdman and Cash Money. Since then, however, Wayne has been consistent dropping mixtapes and being on other rappers songs. However with Wayne and Birdman reconciling at "Weezyana Fest" last month it looks as if we might be finally getting the project nearly 5 years later.
The Young Money twitter page today tweeted out an image of what could very well be the cover or tease for the release of "Tha Carter V" with the caption saying "Put them 5s up". The image features a hand that says "The World" on it. Whether this means its dropping soon or not at least we know that the album is still out there somewhere.
