Jay Ellis also known as Lawrence from "Insecure" stopped by The Angie Martinez show today to talk about the shocking moment from last night's episode of the show.
While the character of Lawrence hasn't been seen since the season 2 finale on "Insecure", he has finally returned to the show after last nights episode. The last time he stopped by the Angie Martinez show, Angie had asked him about his return to the third season after things had seemed to have ended completely with his and Issa Rae's character on the show. At the time of the Interview, he had told Angie that he had not gotten a call yet to reprise his role on the show. Revealing in the new Interview that he had actually LIED and did know at that point of his return. As for how long you may see Lawrence again that is to be seen according to the actor.
One of the most talked about topics of the weekend was the incident between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj at an NYFW even. Speaking on the night he said that he saw both Rappers when he arrived and while he wasn't there to witness the incident within an hour of it happening everyone at the event knew what went down. It also definitely did not stop the party according to the actor.
Jay Ellis also spoke on his role in the upcoming "Top Gun" sequel as well as "A Boy. A Girl. A Dream" which he is in coming out this Friday, September 14th!
