We gotta give 21 Savage a special shoutout for holding down his community in Decatur Georgia where the young rapper grew up. His annual "Issa Back 2 School Drive" is in its 3rd year and does a lot of good for the community giving out school supplies, free haircuts plus much more to children who really need that little extra bit of help.
21 has had a long weekend after also going to another back to school event on Saturday titled "Zone 6 Day" which unfortunately got ugly when a man pulled out a gun and shot someone at the event. Speaking on what went down on Saturday he said "People need to think about their actions. We’re coming together to push positivity, to get all the negative stuff away. We’re trying to show the kids that grown people can come together and do something positive.”
However, he did not let that stop him from holding his back to school drive which of course was a massive success. Speaking to the local Georgia news station he told them: “It makes me feel good just to know that I’m touching people,”.
Shoutout to 21 for spreading positivity in his community.
