The legendary N.O.R.E pulled up to the Angie Martinez show in light of the release of his brand new album "5E", celebrating 20 years in the game as a solo act!
It wouldn't be right for the "Drink Champs" host to pull up to the show without bringing a little something-something, N.O.R.E also established that Angie can pop a champagne bottle way better than he ever could. Speaking on his new album he wanted to drop it around the same time he dropped self-named solo album in July of 2018. He also wanted to make sure there was something on the album for everybody, the features on the record include names such as Pharrell Williams, Tory lanez, Wycleaf Jean, Fat Joe, Fabolous + more! Talking about the album he said he hadn't planned on putting anything out until he heard Pusha T's latest outing "Daytona". Once he heard that album he knew he had to hit the studio.
He recently had a listening party for the new album in which some of the biggest names in NY Hip-Hop showed out to show love. After being in the game for 20 years he thought it was amazing how much love he still got and how he could bring everyone from NY out like he did. Nas was also in attendance to the festivities and unfortunately for him, N.O.R.E may have got him a little too lit according to Angie who had to interview him the next day.
N.O.R.E also thinks that this year is going to go down as one of the best years for Hip-Hop when we look back on it years from now.
