After the death of XXXTENTACION, the late rapper’s mother revealed that his girlfriend is pregnant with his child. Days shortly after the news, Lil Uzi Vert announced to Twitter that he wants to start a foundation for X's family to make sure their financially stable for life.
Lil Uzi Vert took to Twitter to reveal that he's planning on launching a foundation for XXXTENTACION's family and he's urging his fellow artists to help. He revealed that the foundation won't only be for X's family, but for all young entertainers, men and women, that die from gun violence.
Uzi wrote on Twitter, "Been speaking to @xxxtentacion family. I want to start a fund/foundation to make sure his child and family are well taken care of not just temporary but for life. I don’t care if you didn’t know him he is part of the hip-hop/rock community I NEED HELP from celebrities, please. Trust me this fund/foundation will be for all young entertainers and young men and women that die from gun violence etc. Think about your families future I know I am... We can buy chains and watches and cars WE ALSO CAN DONATE AND GIVE AND SUPPORT."
Entertainer, Nicki Minaj has stepped up to the plate and offered her support after Lil Uzi Vert’s call. Nicki responded to Uzi’s tweet replying, "I'd be honored to help babe. hit me w/ the info."
Later, Uzi continued to make it clear on his socials by stating, “I could handle this Alone but I just wanna make sure if anything happens to me Yall hit my Mommy up like yall hit for features.” He said, “I want all celebrities to help in this community even if we don’t like or talk to each other I would do it for you...Been speaking to @xxxtentacion family. I want to start a fund/foundation to make sure his child and family are well taken care of not just temporary but for life.”
