Yesterday, boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather, outdid himself once again. Mayweather posted to social media to flaunt his new $18 million diamond wristwatch that he picked up in Tokyo, Japan. The timepiece, which holds the Jacob & Co brand tag, was called "The Billionaire Watch" and was finished by renowned Japanese jeweler, Tadashi Fukushima. According to HNHH, Floyd Mayweather is reportedly so smitten with Fukushima’s work, that he has pledged to never do business with any other jeweler other than him.
On Instagram, Mayweather posted an up-close video of his purchase. The watch looks to have been commissioned alongside a custom case with diamond embroidery spelling out his promotion "TMT." The watch was initially buzzing after Jacob & Co first presented it to the luxury market as the definitive watch that "truly epitomizes the brand’s passion for breaking boundaries."
"The Billionaire Watch" comes replete with 239 emerald-cut baguette diamond stones, each weighing up to 3 carats.
