The Sabathias talk Celebrity Charity Game, #Vote4Angie + Fat Joe Calls In

CC & Amber Sabathia pulled up to The Angie Martinez show today to talk about their upcoming Celebrity softball game, #Vote4Angie + more! 

The celebrity softball game is going down Thursday, June 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Yankee Stadium and tickets are only $20. There are also other packages available including a VIP Experiences such as playing in the game and being Batgirl/batboy, tickets are currently available at TicketMaster.com. The celebrity game will feature Yankee legends Alex Rodriguez, Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera as well as celebrities and huge names in music such as A boogie, Rapsody, Leslie Jones, The Kid Mero, Victor Cruz + more! CC's wife Amber is the co-founder of their foundation "Pitcchin", and runs the day to day of the organization. Speaking on the charity game and where the money goes, they said it goes towards helping rebuild inner-city baseball fields for children to play on. 


In the middle of the conversation, Angie got a surprise call from Fat Joe who is currently on the set of Spike Lee's Netflix series "She's Gotta Have It". CC is also fresh off winning the subway series against the New York Mets (2-1), the Yankees are set to play against the Mets again later in the season. When asked if its weird to be playing on the road but still be in New York he said it's weird but it's also nice to be back home and spend extra times with his family. CC will also be back to pitching tomorrow night against the Washington Nationals, saying that he feels most comfortable when he is about to head to the mound.
