6ix9ine just dropped his debut mixtape “Day 69” and is reportedly ready to quit the whole rap game.
On Sunday (April 8), Tekashi made a post on Instagram to announce his plans for retirement. In the photo, the rapper is seen standing in the middle of the street, with the caption saying ,
"Waiting for someone to rob me. .. Ima quit rapping this year. I accomplished everything i dreamed of in 5 months."
In the short time span the rapper has been out, 6IX9INE has already earned two RIAA certification plaques with one being platinum for “GUMMO” and the other being gold for “KOODA.”
However this could all be a joke, as the “GUMMO” rapper is no stranger to trolling on social media. Earlier this year he claimed to have signed a deal with Birdman and Cash Money records.
"Just signed to Birdman RICHGANG 15 million February 23rd!!" he wrote.
This report was quickly addressed by Cash Money, who stated that 6ix9ine had not inked a deal with the label.
