Black Panther Brings Wakanda To The Oscars

Although Black Panther will have to wait another year to potentially win an Oscar, that didn’t stop the stars from attending the 90th annual Academy Awards dressed in Wakandan royalty

On Sunday Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, and Daniel Kaluuya—attended this years award ceremony.

“The Walking Dead’s” Danai Gurira and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o were spotted on the carpet together, with Gurira in pale pink dress and Nyong’o rocking a metallic black and gold dress.

“Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman repped Wakanda, posing for photos and shouting “Wakanda forever” with his arms crossed.

"Get Out" star Daniel Kaluuya was featured on the carpet wearing a rusted orange tuxedo, he was also   nominated for lead actor in Jordan Peele’s horror hit “Get Out.”
