The NYC Mayor's Office Young Men's Initiative (YMI), and the NYC Men Teach team, invites you to their upcoming virtual conference, "The Power of One: Why Male Teachers of Color Matter".
Powered by Shindig, The Power of One virtual conference will occur this upcoming Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 from 10:00AM – 1:30PM and unlike a traditional conference that requires you to block off your entire day, The Power of One Conference is completely virtual, allowing you to tune in right from your desk.
If you have a webcam, you will be able to fully participate as an attendee, including ability to see other attendees, ask questions, and attend breakout sessions! This timely conference will amplify the underrepresentation of men of color in the classroom, the importance of men of color within the teaching profession, and the progress of our male teacher of color pipeline—NYC Men Teach.
