Robin Lopez has joined a number of NBA players in defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry's decision to decline President Trump's invitation to visit the White House this winter.
Lopez jumped into the debate via Twitter:
When asked last week at a training camp news conference whether Curry and the Warriors would take up Trump on the invitation, Curry laughed, "I don't want to go. That's really it."
The President responded by saying the invitation was "withdrawn." LeBron James soon responded calling Trump a "bum." But we're not sure any athlete has yet put it better than Lopez.
