Fresh Kid Ice one of the founding member of 2 Live Crew, and a pioneer for Asian rappers, died in Miami TMZ reports.
According to the group's manager he died at 7:50 AM Thursday in a Miami hospital due to a medical condition. There exact reason for his death has not yet been revealed.
Fresh Kid who was 53 at the time of his passing, formed the legendary hip-hop crew with DJ Mr. Mixx and Amazing Vee in 1984, and later hooked up with Luther Campbell later when they signed with his record label.
Fresh Kid was considered a lyrical wizard and was also seen as pioneer for asian rappers.
