Frank Ocean finally opened up about the $14.5 Million lawsuit against from by his own father Calvin Cooksey. Ocean's father defamation lawsuit stems from Frank's tumblr post from last summer in response to the terrible Orlando nightclub shooting.
The part Frank Ocean is being sued for involves a story from his childhood about his fathers select choice of words towards a transgender waitress.
"I was 6 years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress a f****t as he dragged me out of a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn't be served because she was dirty. That was the last afternoon I saw my father and the first time I heard that word, I think, although it wouldn't shock me if it wasn't."
His father says that is has ruined his ability to make music, movies and seek further business opportunities because he's been labeled homophobic when he isn't. Hopefully this case is over with soon and Frank Ocean can go back to making more hit music,
