Kendrick Lamar's 'Humble' Was Almost Given To Another Artist

Kendrick Lamar's highly anticipated album DAMN. has been and still is the hottest album to date.

However, imagine a world where Kendrick didn't rap to the catchy beat to his hit single 'Humble', exactly we can't picture it either.

During an interview with NPR, producer Mike Will Made-It, stated:

“I knew that beat was going to capture a moment. It just felt real urgent. I made that beat when Gucci Mane was getting out of jail; I made it with him in mind," He continued, “I was just thinking, damn, Gucci’s about to come home; it’s got to be something urgent that’s just going to take over the radio.”

Moreover, Mike made the amazing decision to give the song to Kendrick and the rest is history.
