Taraji P. Henson and Nia Long's beef seemed strange to many, leaving all of us wondering exactly why it started. Well the beef allegedly started over a joke.
Nia Long showed up late on set, prompting one of the male actors to joke, "Damn, why are you on black people time?". That apparently set Nia Long into rage. The actor was trying to calm her down, saying it was only a joke, but Long didn't want to hear it.
This caused Taraji to ask "What are you, on your period? Is it that time, girlfriend?". Allegedly things got super heated between the two and set the tone for their relationship moving forward.
