What is Hip Hop without a little beef?
We all love to hate and hate to love Kanye West and his rants and occasional antics; however when it comes to Drake and his music we may have to draw an invisible line when it comes to the Canadian rapper.
Recently, in an interview with DJ Semtex, Drake reveled how he felt about Kanye West and their relationship, after he got news that Kanye supposedly said Drake was taking away airtime from other talented artists.....still with us?
During the interview Drake stated:
"I think everybody has their own little things going on, I’m not really sure what he’s referring to half the time, because in the same breath, I went from being… like working on a project with him, to him sorta publicly shi**ing on me and DJ Khaled for being on the radio too much."
Later, Kanye responded in a video denying the claims, in the video he says his original comment was:
“Radio, F**k you! I know it’s a lot of real ni**as working at radio, real people, real programming directors with wives and kids that love music, that can’t play what they want to play because they’ve been paid to play that bulls**t over and over and over. And when I say that bulls**t, what I’m saying is we love Drake, Drake is great. He’s a great artist. But Frank Ocean is great, too."
Hopefully these two great rappers can overcome this little dispute and continue making great music.....possibly together.
