Sean "Diddy" Combs has responded to another wave of allegations from more victims who claim the artist sexually assaulted them.
According to a report CNN published on Wednesday, November 20, attorney Tony Buzbee filed five new lawsuits from anonymous women and men who claimed they were drugged and raped by Combs or his affiliates. Most of the lawsuits detail familiar acts that Combs has been accused of within the past year. The alleged victims claimed they were sexually assaulted at parties or auditions in New York City, The Hamptons and Miami. Combs' attorneys denied the new allegations and said he "never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone."
“As his legal team has said before, Mr. Combs has full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process,” his legal team said. “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor.”
One victim alleged she was sexually assaulted by Combs in a black SUV limousine outside a Halloween party in 2001. Jane Doe claimed she was given a drink that she believed was laced with drugs. Afterward, she alleged Combs forced her to perform oral sex on him and the six other members of his security team who were allegedly in the limo at the time. She claimed she wasn't allowed to leave unless she pleasured everyone in the vehicle.
One of the other Jane Doe's also claimed she was sexually assaulted at Diddy's White Party in the Hamptons in 2004. The John Doe's who filed legal complaints also claimed Combs drugged and sodomized them. One man alleged one of Combs' associates invited him to an after-party at a home in Miami where he noticed other celebrities. He said Combs or his associate gave him a spiked drink and started to lose consciousness. He claimed he woke up to Combs assaulting him but couldn't fight back due to the drugs.
Tony Buzbee's accusers are suing for undisclosed damages. The Texas-based attorney is also facing legal issues of his own. Buzbee was recently sued for extortion by an unnamed male celebrity. The anonymous celebrity claims the lawyer "falsely and maliciously" associated him with the allegations against Combs. Buzbee denied the allegations. Combs' legal team also hit back at Buzbee and described his recent troves of lawsuits as “shameless publicity stunts designed to extract payments from celebrities who fear having lies spread about them, just as lies have been spread about Mr. Combs.”
Combs was arrested and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering in September. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and is currently awaiting trial at a jail in Brooklyn.
