Travis Scott will be honored with the 'I Am Hip Hop' award at the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards later this month.
On Tuesday, October 1, BET revealed the Houston rapper as the next recipient of the 'I Am Hip Hop' award. Scott will be recognized for his exceptional talent, generational impact and rare creativity over the years. He joins a long list of rap legends who've been honored in the past like last year's winner Marley Marl, Trina, Master P, Lil' Kim, Lil Wayne and more. In addition, Scott is also up for six other awards including Album of the Year for Utopia and Song of the Year for "FE!N."

Megan Thee Stallion leads this year's nominations with 12 nods followed by Kendrick Lamar, who earned 11. Other nominees include Drake, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, GloRilla, Metro Boomin, Future and more.
The 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards is headed to Las Vegas for the first time ever. Hosted by Fat Joe, this year's awards show is set to highlight Hip-Hop's biggest club anthems over the years. The event will be pre-recorded inside Draiโs Beachclub & Nightclub on October 8 before it debuts on October 15 at 8 p.m. EST.
