Kodak Black came to the defense of Haitians everywhere after former president Donald Trump and his supporters accused them of eating cats and dogs.
In footage from a recent livestream that made the rounds on Monday, September 23, the Florida-based artist seemingly criticized Trump and his allies for spreading false rumors that Haitians in Springfield, Ohio stole and devoured pets.
“I’m Haitian, homie. I was Haitian before it was cool to be Haitian," Kodak said. "I ain’t prejudiced, I ain’t biased and I ain’t racist. I love Israel, I love all countries. I love everybody because I’m a warrior of Christ."
“Whatever a muthaf**ka’s appetite is, that’s their appetite," he continued. "Y’all ain’t never saw a muthaf**ka eat a cat before. When y’all seen a muthaf**ka eat a cat? Even if you have eaten a cat, so what?"
Kodak Black went on to talk about the upcoming presidential election. The 27-year-old artist has been a staunch Trump supporter since the former president pardoned him in 2021. Throughout Trump's reelection campaign, Kodak has appeared at rallies and even dropped a supportive song with Fivio Foreign that features portions of Trump's past speeches. However, after Trump amplified his lie about Haitians during the presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris earlier this month, it seems like 'Yak might be reevaluating his political decisions.
“We ain’t voting for nothing," Kodak said. "I ain’t gonna lie, Haitians, we came too far, bro. We came too f**king far, homie... We ain’t taking no Haitian slander.”
Despite his recent rant, Kodak Black still has several photos of him supporting Trump on his Instagram timeline. We'll see if he changes his mind about Trump in November.
