Quavo is hitting back at Chris Brown following the singer's recent jab over an alleged fling the Atlanta rapper had with Brown's ex Karrueche Tran.
On Friday, April 12, the Migos rapper surprised his fans with a new song called "Tender." On the track produced by Atake, Sluzyyy & JW Lucas, Quay-Z gets right into as he appears to reference Brown's former relationship with Tran and his previous history with domestic violence.
"You did the bitch wrong and now the bitch gone, she posted with a thug," Quavo raps. "Call the bitch phone, she won't come home, don't beat her up/It must be the drugs, need to cross out your plug."
"Tell me, lil' bro, what's your issue? It's over a thot," Quavo continues in the second verse. "You said that it's bigger than that, but no, it is not/It's 'cause I be diggin' in that (Ya dig?), it got 'em hot."
Quavo's response arrived 24 hours after Chris Brown took aim at him on the deluxe version of his recent album 11:11. CB debuted his new collaboration with Lil Wayne, Tee Grizzley and Joyner Lucas called "Freak," which samples Nelly's "Air Force Ones." On his verse, Brown referenced Quavo's relationship with Tran and declared it doesn't make them "equal."
"Okay, now f**kin' my old b***hes ain't gon' make us equal," Brown raps. "Sippin' that 1942 'cause I don't do no Cuervo/Freak b***h, she like Casamigos, not the Migos."
Chris Brown and Quavo's beef goes back to 2017 when rumors about Quavo and Karrueche first began to spread. The two have clashed on several occasions since then. Earlier this year, CB and Quavo made headlines when they were seated next to each other at an event during Paris Fashion Week. Some fans thought they put their differences behind them, but Breezy made it clear that wasn't the case.
““Can’t pick who you sit by,” he wrote on Instagram. "F**k all that growth s**t. N***a not finna fumble my bag for little n****s.”
