An innocent video of Young M.A getting a fresh cut has fans concerned after they claim she doesn't look healthy.
On Tuesday, March 14, the "Ooouuu" rapper's barber posted a video to Instagram which shows how he cleaned up her signature dreads with a fresh cut. Once the video was posted, fans instantly noticed a significant change. They pointed out that her eyes were yellow as if she had jaundice, which led some people to believe she may be suffering from medical issues. Shortly after her barber blasted people for spreading rumors, Young M.A took to her Instagram Stories to speak on the viral commotion.
"We blessed don't let that get to u blooda 🤞🏽.. and I told you it's was like 4 months 😂"
She didn't necessarily address the rumors about her health, but it's clear she really needed that cut. It's not the first time fans were alarmed about her health. Back in June 2021, Young M.A revealed on Instagram that she had checked herself into rehab to "lose this addiction." She hasn't given a lot of updates on her health since then.
Fans may have been worried because it's been a few months since we heard from Young M.A on wax and online. She hasn't released a project since her 2021 album Off The Yak. He last solo single was "Aye Day Pay Day," which dropped last May. Prior to the video clip, the Bronx artist hadn't been active on social media (at least Twitter) since last July. As of this report, her Instagram timeline had been wiped clean.
