Larsa Pippen is giving up some intimate deets on her relationship with Marcus Jordan.
On Thursday, March 2, the Real Housewives of Miami star appeared on Way Up With Angela Yee and explained how she met Michael Jordan's second oldest son and what led up to their newfound relationship. During their discussion, Larsa said that, despite the rumors online about a years-long friendship, she met Jordan about four years ago at a party and actually tried to set him up with her friends. Marcus, who was also in the room with the crew, said he never dated them.
"She's like my best friend," Jordan said.
"We really are," Larsa replied. "We just have fun together. I feel like we have similarities. We're both from Chicago, we both love basketball. We both like business stuff and we're very family-oriented."
The more time they spent as friends, the more sparks began to fly. Their friendship evolved into a romantic relationship, which shocked basketball fans everywhere last year. The pair were spotted in Miami dining together as friends but were seen hooking up at various events like Rolling Loud in New York. Now that they've confirmed their relationship, Larsa says both of their families are cool about it.
"I think people, at the end of the day, just want to see you happy," Larsa said. "I want to be happy, he wants to be happy and our families want to see us happy. If you're with someone that brings out the best of you then why not?"
