With COVID back on the rise, the tripledemic (COVID, RSV and the flu), and winter season approaching, the expansion of this community-focused urgent and primary care healthcare provider is timelier than ever. Nao Medical’s NEW Stuy Town location is at 259 1st Avenue and now provide a full range of services including mental health for adults and kids, as well as COVID vaccination and booster shots.
As a woman, minority and immigrant-owned business, Nao Medical continues to expand in New York with a total of 15 locations (5 of which opened in 2022) throughout the five boroughs and Long Island, bridging the gap between emergency and primary care, where patients can walk in without an appointment and be seen.
Throughout the pandemic, Nao Medical remained open and served over 700,000 New Yorkers providing them with much needed access to COVID PCR tests, Rapid COVID tests and antibody infusions. Nao Medical providers also went into communities with their mobile units and gave 5,000 life-saving vaccinations. Today, Nao Medical provides a comprehensive range of health, mental health, and wellness services from regular checkups to urgent care available to all New Yorkers. “Nao” means boat in Hindi, Sanskrit, and Spanish, bringing to mind the idea of ferrying their patients from a time of stress to a moment of calm and navigating towards better health.
