Kanye West recently interviewed with Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes, vocalizing antisemitic comments that echo those which costed him his partnership with Adidas, billionaire-status, and much more. The conversation was also moderated by far-right personation Nick Fuentes, a Holocaust denier and white supremacist (as labeled by the Anti-Defamation League).
According to Billboard, the 45-minute interview—titled “Saving Ye”—was posted on an alt-right website (Censored.TV). It shares a debate revolving around the “hate speech aimed at the Jewish community.”
The interview begins with the right-wing extremist saying his purpose of the conducting it is to “prevent Ye West from becoming an antisemite or a Nazi,” which people are speculating Kanye of being.
Some of the antisemitic, shocking comments Billboard and Rolling Stone report on include:
- “Jewish people — forgive Hitler today… Let it go. Let it go. Stop trying to force it on other people.”
- “Jewish people can’t tell me who I can love and who I can’t love,”
- “Jews should work for Christians. I’ll hire a Jewish person in a second if I knew they weren’t a spy and I could look through their phone and follow through their house and have a camera all in their living room.”
Kanye's most recent post on Instagram is political, as some claim these appearances to be.
Of course, all of this comes along many other comments and moments that are inappropriate on Ye's part.
