Texas Senator Ted Cruz appeared to be taking a photo with a man at a restaurant, but the moment escalated when the man began asking questions about gun rights.
Benjamin Hernandez could be heard in the viral video yelling, “19 children died and that’s on your hands” as he was being escorted out by Cruz’ security.
Hernandez, of Indivisible Houston, told Inside Edition Digital’s Johanna Li he was simply holding his elected official accountable.
