McDonald’s Permanently Closing Restaurants In Russia

It’s a wrap for McDonald’s in Russia.

After 30 years, the company will be shutting its doors following the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The country’s 847 restaurants first temporarily shut down in March. They’ve since lost about $55 million a month as they continue to pay their staff, landlords and suppliers.

They have promised that their 62,000 Russian employees will continue to be paid until the deal is finalized
