Dozens of balloons were popped and dropped off a chartered yacht in Florida’s Biscayne Bay, near Miami. The environmentally reckless littering was caught on camera from a nearby boat. Afterwards, the balloons could be seen floating away.
A Florida man chartered the yacht to propose to his girlfriend 🛥💍🎈 but says that he was unaware of how the cleanup crew would handle the disposal of the balloons once his proposal was done and over with.
Two people allegedly responsible for the littering were arrested and charged with felony “disregard for the environment.” If convicted, they could face fines and jail time.
