The former "Empire" star, who was released from jail pending the appeal of his conviction for lying to cops about a racist and homophobic attack he said he suffered, seems to address it in the single.
The video begins with text that reads, “Channeling these thoughts the best way I know how, I love you.” The actor says he is donating 100% of the song's profits to non-profits and community groups.
