Teachers are quitting their jobs in record numbers, and some of them are posting their exits on TikTok.
Mahalia Aponte filmed herself telling her class that she would not be returning, but she got backlash on social media for the way she broke the news to her students. She says that the decision came down to money. “I work a side job serving three nights, on top of my 40-plus hours as a teacher,” she told Inside Edition. “I should not have to have sometimes three jobs to make ends meet.”
