Swizz Beatz & Timbaland Say Kanye Was Down For Drake Verzuz

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are on top of the world right now! Fresh off of being named 1 of Time Magazines 100 Most Influential People of this year the legends and Verzuz TV founders stopped by The Angie Martinez show today in celebration of their new achievement, the talk about the upcoming Fat Joe Verzuz Ja Rule battle that's going to shake up the city + reveal to us that Kanye West had agreed to do a Verzuz with Drake.

With the success of Verzuz TV Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have found themselves to be called some of the most influential people of the last year helping all of us at home find some joy during the tough times thanks to the now legendary Verzuz. The platform which has been taken on by Triller and brought to an entirely new level continues to bring the fans quality battles every month. While being on Time Magazines list year this year, Swizz shared that he didn't even know the announcement was made until he was sitting in his doctors office and he showed him that the announcement had been made. As for Timb he's just grateful that everyone from the fans and artists saw the vision to help get Verzuz to where it's at today.

"For me, verzuz was so humbling it made me look at myself, you know when you dealing with artists at this time, we had an idea where we just asked artists to believe in our version and people from their homes really believed in it".

One Verzuz in particular that everyone has been dying to see happen is Kanye West and Drake. Now while the internet debates who has the better album, Swizz and Timb shared with Angie that Kanye had actually agreed and wanted to do a Verzuz with Drizzy. However for now things just haven't worked out and we're sure a lot of that has to do with the two's very public back and forth on social media and their music. As for Swizz' relationship with Drake after Drizzy allegedly threw some bars at him on the new album he wants people to know that "I'm cool".
