On Thursday, September 2nd the official New York Carnival Week presented by West Indian American Day Carnival Association (WIADCA) begins!

Have no fear, all COVID precautions are in place. Please arrive early for COVID screening, as the committee will have open testing sites and vaccinating stations available. WELCOME BACK! NEW YORK CARNIVAL 2021 | 7:00pm - 2:00am

Features artists and music from the diaspora Iwer George (2020 Power Soca Monarch Trinidad), Farmer Nappy (2021 Soca Monarch Trinidad), Linky First - Mr. ‘Rock and Come In’ (Jamaica), Cycle Head and Dem Guyanese Boyz and more! During this event DJ Stakz will pay tribute to the late Jacob Desvarieux (guitarist and lead singer Kassav) and Herman Nau (co-founder and drummer Tabou Combo).
