On Sunday (August 7, 2021) Angie Martinez hosted her annual Summer BBQ at Bar Code in New Jersey and what an amazing and fun event it was.
To add some funds to fun there was a Spade tournament with a Grand Prize of $5,000 in which Angie even played a hand herself for fun and to connect with the people. Congrats to Felix and Uzette who took home them $5,000 courtesy of The Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff. There was also giant Jenga for guests to play, beach-balls to throw around and some of the most amazing BBQ I've ever tasted.
In the building we saw the likes of Mary J. Blige, Joe Budden, DreamDoll, French Montana, Chinese Kitty, Capella Grey, Shiggy, Shawn 'Pecas' Costner, and J.I. The Prince of NY.
Aside from being in the building attendees were also treated to surprise performances by New York artists: French, Kitty, Capella, Dream and J.I. We also got a hilarious dance performance from Shiggy and an epic reggae set from DJ Norie with Angie as his hype-woman.
From the Power squad we saw sets from DJs: Steph Cakes, First Choice, Nyla Symone, Frank Roth, Prostyle, Ty Boogie, Will.
