ASL Interpreter Speaks On Her VIRAL 'WAP' Video

ASL interpreter, Kelly Kurdi has found viral fame as a video of her translating Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” during Lollapalooza has spoken out.

Kelly commented on the success of the video saying she hopes it brings awareness to the need for ASL interpreters at concerts.“Seeing an interpreter at a concert shouldn’t be shocking. Seeing a deaf interpreter on tour with every artist should be the norm!” Kelly wrote on Instagram. 

Kelly:

The video was filmed by Guilherme Vital Senise da Silva, who attended the concert and posted it to his account has racked up 11.7 million views on TikTok and 4 million views on Twitter.
