With an upcoming single dropping this week and teasing his remake of the late Big Pun’s “It’s So Hard” J.I The Prince Of N.Y stopped by The Angie Martinez show today to talk about all that, his upcoming album, getting his start on “The Rap Game” and telling his fans to leave Jermaine Dupri alone in his comments.
A few days ago J.I took to his IG live to preview some new music for his fans, one of the records was a sample/remake of the classic Big Pun record “It’s So Hard”. The record which J.I is extremely excited for his fans to listen to is a huge moment for him. Citing Pun as one his biggest influences growing up the young rapper wanted to do the song justice with his remake.
As for new music from the rapper, his latest single _______ drops this week, and his debut album is expected to arrive sometime before the end of this year or at the top of 2022.
