Cash Cobain On Being The Sample GOD, “BOI”, Drake Playing His Music

If you’re not familiar with Cash Cobain yet, don’t worry you will be after this Summer. The Bronx rapper/producer also known as the “Sample God”, just dropped his new record “Boi” which samples Cam'Ron & Juelz Santana's "Oh Boy". The song which is a contender for song of the Summer in NYC has been steadily climbing up all the charts and playlists in the city. Stopping by On The Radar the rapper spoke about the record, Drake bumping his music last Summer, what it takes to be the “Sample God” and announced his new album “Nirvana” dropping at the end of July.

With many of his records featuring legendary samples and doing work for the likes of Lil Yachty, Shawny Bin laden, Cash Cobain has dubbed himself the sample God. When it comes to what it takes to be the sample God the BX rapper explained to us, you simply have to go hard and not care.

“To be the sample God you got to not care, I don’t care about no clearing, none of that, if someone wants to come at me and sue me I already made it I don’t care no more, you can sue me, I’m taking that risk, especially if you own your own song and you black, Im black and im coming up you was coming to when you made your song”

With his “719” deluxe album already doing numbers featuring the likes of Casanova and Jay Gwuapo, the rapper exclusively revealed to us he’ll be dropping his new album “Nirvana” at the end of July.

“I’m dropping an album at the end of July, ima just give it to yall, also focused on the Slizzy Summer. The album is called Nirvana, Cash Cobain, Kirk Cobain, think about it. That details the whole album.”
