Canadian producer Pitt Tha Kid already has a ton of certified production credits under his belt such as Young Thug, Pop Smoke, A Boogie + more! As of recent the young producer has begun his journey putting together a project of his own beginning with his new single âRunâ featuring Taleban Dooda and Lil Wayne. Sitting down with On The Radar today the young rapper spoke about how he came to be on Pop Smokeâs album, his new single and upcoming album + more!
Pop Smokeâs âShoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moonâ is still having one of the biggest runs of any Hip-Hop album this century. Pitt Tha Kid was lucky enough to be a part of the project on âCreaturesâ which featured Swae Lee. Explaining how he got on the project the producer explained it all came about thanks to his friendship with 808 Melo who he met shortly after âWelcome To The Partyâ took off.
âI mean RIP Pop Smoke, out of respect I donât want to speak on it too much, shoutout to 808 Melo I connected with him a year ago, heâs one of the dopest producers when I heard âWelcome To The Partyâ im like yo who produced this, thatâs when It first kinda dropped and we been working since then and everything kinda lined up with his albumâ
As he prepares for his own outing as an artist with his new album, Pitt has released his new song featuring Lil Wayne and Taleban Dooda. Explaining the idea behind the song was to mix an older and younger artist together to create something special.
âI mean just God made it happen, I hade the Wayne verse first and then I sent it to Taleban and I was like he would be perfect for this beat and he bodied it, salute to Dooda, everything kinda came together perfectlyâ
