Prosecutors in Wisconsin have charged Jessy Kurczhewski, 37, with first degree intentional homicide claiming she used eye drops as a murder weapon and then faked her friend’s suicide because she was stealing money from the victim.
According to a criminal complaint, the medical examiner says the woman died from an overdose of tetrahydrozoline, the active ingredient in eye drops, which can be fatal in large doses.
According to the complaint, Kurczhewski said her friend was “known for eye drops,” bought them in large quantities, and claimed she saw the woman drink Visine with vodka.
While investigating, police say they discovered that Kurczhewski defrauded her friend out of over $290,000 and she was also charged with two counts of theft of movable property.
