Fresh off the release of his smash record “Dios Mio” (Remix) with French Montana we got to sit down with Bizzy Brook today! The rapper who wasted no time in 2020 dropping his “From Me, To You” album, partnering with Audiomack to release a new single every Friday and now he’s entering 2021 with a new vision and a ton more heat on the way. Speaking with us he told us how French Montana hopped on the remix to “Dios Mio”, how his last album & the birth of his daughter got him out of a dark place and what to expect from the new project which includes a feature from Benny The Butcher.
The remix for “Dios Mio” comes just in time for the Summer, the record came about during a night where Bizzy was about to perform at a club and he wanted something that he could play for the ladies when he got there, creating the song and freestyling it in under 30 minutes.
“This record I did it in Miami right before the club and I wanted something that I could play at the club that night, I freestyled most of it in like 30 minutes, my man called me 2 weeks later from French Montana’s crib, he was like I played this for French send it ASAP he’s going to jump on it”
As for what we can expect from his upcoming album, a ton of real rap. Bizzy expressed with this new album he wants to show people he can keep up with many of the artists he looks up to in the game including Benny The Butcher who is set to be featured on it.
“that’s one of my favorite guys right there and this next project is going to be a rap album like real rap record and I want to work with all the guys I think can rap and I want to show the world I can keep up with all these guys, I think this next album is going to be one of my best albums”
