One of those many new artists is Tay B who we got to sit down with for On The Radar today. Tay who recently signed with Columbia records has already had the streets on smash for a while now but 2021 is a whole different game. With his new single “Stashbox” with Lil Durk putting up major numbers and possible collabs with A Boogie, Future, 42Dugg, and Roddy Ricch on the way the rapper is gearing up to have the biggest year of his career.

Sitting down with us he spoke about all that plus gave us a bit of insight on Detroit lingo and when we can possibly expect his album to drop.

Lil Durk lately has been working nonstop, not only with his music but giving back to upcoming artists who have been making noise. With so much in common between Detroit and Chicago, Tay B explained to us that linking with Durk was an easy play as the two got along immediately.

“The Detroit and Chicago we got a lot of similarities when we link up we get along because we damn near the same we just got different lingo, Chicago and the D it’s the same, Durk he a genuine dude, when we linked up it was just like that”

With an album surely on the way, Tay has been working hard on securing a feature list of some of your favorite artists. Teasing records with the likes of A Boogie and Future on his IG. He even came all the way to New York to work with Boogie who he expressed to us was a real genuine person and showed love when he got here.

“I went to New York to work with A Boogie, he a real solid dude, possibly on the upcoming project.”

As for the album, Tay explained that before signing to a label he would just drop music whenever but now he wants to move correctly so while there may not be an official date yet, just know it's on the way!

“Album I want to drop tomorrow, I got some fire s--- but I just want to build my youtube a little more because I would never drop on there, now that im with a label I want to move the right way”
